Monty Shepardson played for 2 seasons with the New York Sharks. She had read about the WPFL in April, 2000 and found out there was a team in the New York area. “I’ve always loved the NFL (Go Redskins!) and believed that pro football for women would eventually become a reality.”

Her goal is to help the team stay successful both on and off the field.

She is a development officer for Yale University.
